Camp Blodgett Summer Academy is for children who are concerned about losing ground during the summer, live in Kent or Ottawa County, commit to attending all 4 weeks without an absence, agree to participate fully and cooperatively, show economic need. There is an application process for this program. Those interested are encouraged to apply during the previous fall.

Financial Assistance: To ensure that all children have the opportunity to attend summer camp, fees for attending Camp Blodgett are determined using a sliding fee scale based on family income and household size. If needed, transportation is also provided to and from Grand Rapids and camp.
